The Sligo Engineering Expo 2018 directly engaged with over 1000 visitors on the day and had a wider audience of over 2500 viewing, listening and learning from the Expo activities.
Produced by IT Sligo with headline sponsorship from AbbVie, the Sligo Engineering Expo caught the imagination of all who attended, offering insights into Advanced Engineering in Ireland and providing engagement opportunities for IT Sligo students and industry alike.
To the theme of ‘Superheroes of Engineering’, the Knocknarea Arena was transformed on the 3rd May 2018 into a bustling marketplace for engineering minds.
With the event open to all between 10am and 7pm, the general public, students, schools and community groups all arrived to explore and engage with over 50 interactive displays, industry talks and hands on activities.
