Engineering As A Career – Open Night

Engineers Week 2016 at IT Sligo continues this Wednesday evening, March 2nd, with a dedicated event for students and jobseekers who may be thinking about Engineering as a career.

The ‘Engineering as a Career’ Open Night will take place in lecture hall A0004 at 8pm, and will bring together interested students and practicing engineers from the North West region. They will be available to discuss what they do on a daily basis and will give a meaningful insight into the potential career paths for students.

Experts from the full range of Engineering disciplines will be on hand to offer advice and guidance. They will span Civil, Mechanical and Electronic engineering as well as Mechatronics.

This is a free public event.

‘Engineering as a Career’ is one of a series of events taking place this week at IT Sligo as part of Engineers Week 2016, which is week-long programme of nationwide events with the aim of celebrating the world of engineering in Ireland.

It continues until Saturday, March 5th.
