IT Sligo will be holding a special Green Week from the 8th to 12th of March with a collection of activities, competitions and talks on environmental issues, sustainability and what the future holds.   This promises to be a very interesting and informative week.  Please download leaflet below for more information.

Monday 8th March

Spring Has Sprung Photo Competition Launch

In conjunction with IT Sligo Healthy Campus

What does spring mean to you? Capture your Green Week photo showing nature and the arrival of spring. Submit your entry to greencampus@nullitsligo.ie before 4pm Friday 12th March to enter.

Build a Bird Feeder Competition Launch

In conjunction with Sligo Tidy Towns and ITS Healthy Campus
Create a bird feeder re-using old materials found at home. Send a photograph of your entry to greencampus@nullitsligo.ie before 4pm Friday 12th March to be in with a chance to win some great prizes!

IT Sligo ‘Student Sustainability Guide’

In conjunction with IT Sligo Students Union
Green Campus in conjunction with the Student Union have developed a free simple guide to sustainability and how you can play your part to reduce our environmental impact on campus and beyond.

This event marks the launch of our ITS ‘Sustainability Series’ – a
collection of lunchtime talks, discussions and podcasts to help us
better understand sustainability and how it can inform our practice.
(Note – this event is limited to IT Sligo Staff, a direct invite will follow)

An Taisce Green Week is a national initiative to raise the status of sustainability, diversity and inclusion. It is for all our campus community.
IT Sligo and IT Sligo Green Campus are committed to sustainability and sustainable change.
HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
All our campus community can get involved.
