Eointec Solutions is an embedded software and electronics hardware design R&D services company that specialize in the development of products that transport video and audio over internet protocol (IP), these include handheld devices such as PDAs with touch screen and camera technology as well as Ethernet, Wireless LAN and 3G network transport technologies. They are located in the Innovation Centre in Sligo IT . We currently have 4 full time employees and 1 part time.
Our services include developing software and hardware prototypes that can be used for proof of concept, market validation and first production run. Full design, testing and manufacture documentation are also provided. Eointec Solutions have won contracts in Ireland, Scotland, England, France and Canada. They have recenty completed a European FP7 2 year project called Cameleon which partners them with 3 research and development Institutes in Europe and 4 other SMEs in Italy and Germany.

Sligo Live celebrates folk roots and indie music on the last weekend in October.

Study Bundles is the brainchild of three friends – Declan Sweeney, Daniel Hinkley and John O’Hagan. They noticed the confusion and lack of direction felt by many new arrivals and wanted to help universities address this and reduce drop-outs.
In April 2015, they created an app called CampusConnect with the aim to streamline the application procedure and improve communication between applicants and the university. The app tailors information from the university to applicant’s individual profiles.
Now into their second year, they are continuing to build upon current relationships with Maynooth University, the University of Limerick and Letterkenny IT. “We have a good foothold in Ireland and we’re hoping to build on this,” says Sweeney.
