The Institute is committed to the continued provision of a quality education and student experience and doing so in a manner that protects the public health and well-being of both students and staff.  In light of this, the Institute is planning to resume full operations for the coming academic year, but in a manner that takes account of the current public health context.

For both continuing students and new students, semester 1 began on September 28th.  This date applies to full time and part-time online students (excl. Trade Apprenticeships).

New students will be advised in September about plans for college induction.

Other dates for continuing students to note:

Release of Autumn repeat results:  September 23rd.

Feedback days: September 24th & 25th.

Delivery in semester 1 will be a blend of remote delivery and on campus delivery for activities that require active face-to-face engagement with academic staff.

The way each programme will be delivered will depend on the programme learning outcomes.   Programme teams have considered the format delivery should take and timetabling is occurring over the summer. Some students will have been informed of the approximate attendance requirements at this stage but more definitive information will be provided to all students in early September .

The Institute has made the required public health provisions for the safe return of students and staff.

We look forward to welcoming both new and continuing students back to college in September.
