Biography

Dr. Bryan Coyne is an Assistant Lecturer in Business and Data Analytics in the Faculty of Business and Social Science in ATU Sligo Campus. His lecturing at undergraduate and postgraduate level encompasses Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Research Methods and the supervision of student research projects across the faculty.  
Bryan obtained his PhD in Economics from Trinity College Dublin in 2020, where his research focused on studying consumer behaviour for residential energy use and commercial energy use of data centres. He previously received his MA in Economics from NUI Maynooth in 2014 and his BA Finance & Economics from NUI Maynooth in 2013.

Research Interests

Bryan has spent more than a decade exploring critical issues across the Irish economy in areas ranging from telecommunications, education to energy and environmental issues. He has co-authored over a dozen peer-reviewed articles and official reports and serves as a reviewer for peer-reviewed journals. He is available to discuss potential research projects.
