Online Learning Induction

At ATU, we have a welcoming and supportive environment for all our students, and we have created a comprehensive Online & Flexible Learning Induction programme to help you settle in and get prepared for your online studies.

The Online & Flexible Learning Induction is an online event, meaning you can attend from anywhere and it typically takes place in January and September each year.

Induction will help you get off to a great start as an Online Learner at ATU. The self-paced induction programme provides signposts to key information such as how to register, how to access Moodle, information on the student supports available to you, an overview of Yeats Library and much more.

Our Induction schedule is flexible to your work/life needs and can be used a guide for what you need to familiarise yourself with before you commence your studies. Please feel free to complete the actions that we have listed in our Induction schedule during in own time and pace. If you are not free to attend our Online Learning Induction, you can revisit the webpage at a later stage.

One of the most important invites of our Induction schedule is your Live Meeting with your Course Coordinator and Lecturer, this meeting will give you an overview of your course and what to expect during your academic studies. Your Live Meeting will be on one evening during Induction for one hour (typically at 7pm). A link to your Live Meeting will be included on our Induction webpage.
