IT Sligo Careers Fair

Several of Ireland’s most dynamic companies will be on campus to showcase their graduate employment opportunities at the IT Sligo Careers Fair 2017, and will offer advice and information for jobseekers. The visiting companies span a range of industry sectors including Engineering, Computing, Digital Technology, Accounting and Science. The event takes place in the main building of IT Sligo. A one-day marketing conference takes place at IT Sligo in February each year. It’s a free one-day event, open to the public, and is organised by the Institute’s Department of Marketing, Tourism & Sport.

Engineers Week is a week-long programme of nationwide events with the aim of celebrating the world of engineering in Ireland. It aims to create a positive awareness and spark enthusiasm about the engineering profession to people of all ages, especially students and their teachers and parents. IT Sligo will host a varied programme of free events for all ages on campus throughout the seven days.

Engineering Expo 2017

The Engineering Expo is a new and exciting collaboration between IT Sligo and Industry. It is a chance for potential engineering students to gain knowledge of companies, interact with alumni and network with professional engineers. Participants at the Engineering Expo include Fortune 500 industry leaders, indigenous industry, and small and medium size companies from across Ireland. The conference provides an annual opportunity for the dissemination and presentation of research in the broad tourism sector.
