Your Induction Schedule 2023

Induction takes place from Monday 11th to Friday 15th September 2023. Your Induction schedule (see below) is a guide to be used for Induction week. All of these great resources are available to you throughout your time as a student at ATU Sligo.
You can access all of the resources in this Induction in your own time and at your own pace. We encourage you to check them out before your course begins and get set up for success. Best of luck!

Course Introduction Meetings

During Induction week, we are running a series of live meetings where you will receive an introduction to your online course, receive your timetable and guidance on assignments and examinations, meet your dedicated Course Coordinator and ask any questions you may have. Course Introduction Meetings will take place from Tuesday 12th September to Thursday 14th September 2023 at 7pm or 8pm for 1 hour. Getting Started with Online Learning

Watch and learn about how to make the best start as a new student to Online Learning at ATU Sligo. The self-paced induction programme provides sign-posts to key information like how to register as an ATU Sligo student, logging into Moodle, gaining access to the Library and much more.

Connect for Success

As part of ATU Connect for Success – the first five weeks, we invite you to our first online Lunch and Learn session: Getting the Right Start on Friday 22 September from 1:10pm – 1:50pm. This short lunchtime session will feature our Online Student Advisors and Springboard Coordinator providing guidance and advice on getting the right start to your online programme and will cover everything from registration, assessment and exams to student and academic supports and paying fees. Advisors will also be on-hand to answer any questions you might have. Pop into the MS Teams meeting at the link below on Friday 22nd at 1:10pm.

If you need help getting started or have any queries, join our academic and support teams for a 1 hour live lunchtime Q&A session,
1-2pm, from Monday 11th to Thursday 14th September.
