Roisin Mc Glone, located in C2001, +353 71 9155352, , Assistant Lecturer Management and Leadership, Joint Programme Chair, Masters of Arts in Leadership and Advocacy for the Early Years . Since 2004 , Lecturing to final year ECCE and Social Care Practice students and delivering an elective module Enterprise for All. Research interests in Entrepreneurship Education for non business students and am a member of Campus Entrepreneurship Enterprise Network , formerly known as Accelerating Campus Entrepreneurship since 2008.   Through this involvement I have was invited to act as international judge in a student enterprise competition in Singapore Ng Ann Polytechnic in 2012 and participated in the Babson Price International Entrepreneurship Educators Symposium in 2011.I have held the role of Placement Coordinator for ECCE for 5 years, and Programme Chair of ECCE for 3 .  I was directly involved in the development of the MA In  Leadership and Advocacy for the Early Years in 2013 and in addition, I have acted as Year Tutor for Final Year ECCE for 5 years.  Was a founding member  and first Chairperson of Pedagogy, Learning and Education , the network organisation of third level higher education institutions delivering degree programmes in ECCE. In 2020. co organised and hosted the national Our Children, Our Future Childcare Conference at IT Sligo.Since 2013, I have been External Examiner for the level 8 BA in Entrepreneurship at Athlone Institute of Technology.
My professional engagement involves being a Board member of Sligo County Childcare Committee since 2000 and have held the role of Chairperson for 5 years and am currently Vice Chairperson . Was nominated  in 2011 by the then Minister for Children and Youth Affairs Frances Fitzgerald as member of the Expert Advisory Group for the First Early Years Strategy and was a member of the selection board for the first cohort of Early Years Inspectors. Since 2010, have been a board member of the National Lifestart organisation and Company Secretary of Arrow Community  Enterprises a community development company in South Sligo.
