Exam Accommodations for Students with Special Needs
Students with a disability or specific learning difficulty should register with the Access Office/ Learning Support Office at the beginning of the academic year. Students progressing must also re-register at the start of each academic year. Students wishing to avail of exam accommodations must notify the Access Office/ Learning Support Office each time they have official Institute Examinations as outlined below. The Examinations Office endeavours to provide reasonable accommodations for registered students during Examinations.
Students must provide details of their examinations dates & times to the Access Office/ Learning Support Office before the following closing dates as set out by the Access office/ Learning Support Office.
Students sitting an official Institute Examination scheduled outside the above periods should contact the Access Office/ Learning Support Office immediately (this does not include continuous assessment). It is important to note that it is the responsibility of the student to inform the Access Office/ Learning Support Office immediately of any changes in their timetable after the closing date.
