*UPDATE March, 4th: Due to an overwhelming response to our call for supplies for Ukraine, we are now no longer accepting any more donations. Please get in touch with the local businesses in your area that are still accepting donations.

As we witness the distressing scenes unfolding in Ukraine, IT Sligo calls for an end to the unjustified military invasion of our European neighbours and send a message of support to the Ukrainian people who are going through unimaginable hardship at this time.

Words without action will do little to ease their suffering and with that in mind, IT Sligo with our colleagues in St Angela’s College will gather humanitarian supplies to send to the region in support of those who find themselves displaced from their homes.  If you live in the Sligo region and beyond we call upon everyone to donate and drop off the following to IT Sligo (trolley at main reception) by Tuesday, 8th March.

  • Cleaning products: soap, shampoos, toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet cleaners, hand and surface disinfectants)
  • Toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, wet wipes for children, sanitary products for women
  • Disposable tableware (plates, cups, forks, spoons)
  • Canned food and food for immediate consumption
  • Dried fruit and nuts
  • Tea, coffee, sugar, salt.
  • Blankets, sheets, towels, sleeping bags (new)
  • Painkillers, dressings, bandages (first aid supplies)
  • Toys for children
  • Pet food

We thank you for your support and pray for an immediate peaceful resolution to end this unjustified occupation of Ukraine.  IT Sligo has made contact with our Ukrainian students and will continue to give support through this most difficult time.
