Evaluation of decision-making factors to facilitate effective safety behaviour fo Irish Farmers

Carolyn graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2018 with a BSc in Land Use and Environmental Management, receiving a First-Class Honours. Carolyn went on to graduate from University of Ulster with a Postgraduate Diploma with Distinction in Environmental Management. After graduation, Carolyn worked for an environmental remediation company as a Project Manager and Health and Safety Manager, cleaning up oil spillages and controlling invasive plant species.

 

Carolyn is now a research student at IT Sligo exploring the the behaviour and decision-making factors that influence unsafe actions or conditions on Irish farms with the aim of reducing injury, illness, and fatalities of Irish farmers. Carolyn has experience with SPSS. Carolyn remains very interested in environmental issues and is chair of the Environmental Society at IT Sligo.
