Research Project Summary:

Shanes’ research focuses on Lymphoedema treatment and in particular on the potential of an Adjustable Compression Garment replacing multilayer bandaging in the intensive phase of treating Upper limb Lymphoedema post breast cancer.

Potential Impact of your research?

It is hoped that this Adjustable Compression sleeve will increase the ability of patients to self-manage/ self-treat their Upper limb Lymphoedema, thereby reducing the burden on both patients and the health service.
