Biography

Dr. Carmel Moran is a lecturer in analytical chemistry in the Health and Nutritional Sciences Department at IT Sligo. She obtained her Ph.D in Environmental Radioactivity at IT Sligo and has worked previously in Industry as an Environmental Coordinator. Her research interests are in the application of analytical techniques in environmental and archaeological analysis. She has been the Radiation Protection Officer for the Institute from 2010 to 2020.
