About the Masters in Environmental Protection
Candidates who have successfully completed the modules on the Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Protection may choose to register for the MSc in Environmental Protection also by distance learning over a further year. The main element of the MSc is completion of a 30 Credit dissertation.

Having accumulated the full 90 Credits successful graduates will be awarded an MSc in Environmental Protection.
This is an accredited course with the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM), the largest professional body for chartered environmental scientists. If you apply and are approved for an online course at ATU Sligo, you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of €250 to secure your place. Your deposit will then be credited against the course fees once you are registered as a student. Students at ATU Sligo are also eligible to claim tax relief at the standard rate for tuition fees.
