A waxathon will be held in the brewery organised by 3rd year marketing students of IT Sligo. Students, staff and members of the public will volunteer to get waxed for charity. All volunteers will be given sponsorship cards in order to help raise money for the chosen charity which is the North West Hospice. All are welcome on the night to help raise much needed funds for this worthwhile charity. A raffle will also be held with spot prizes for those who get involved.
Some of the IT Sligo third year marketing students who are organising a charity waxathon in aid of the North West Hospice.
Numerous staff, colleagues, students and peers have all been affected in some way through cancer and this event is in honour of all the people who have accessed the services of the Hospice.
The event will take place in the brewery on the 17th of November 2009. The waxathon will commence at approximately 9pm, there will be a stand on campus on the 5th of November in order for people to volunteer and receive their sponsorship cards.
All are welcome on the night!
