Choosing to study for a Higher Certificate in Health and Exercise Science was the best decision I made. It enabled me to study Physiotherapy at the University of Salford, which is one of the top 10 Universities in the UK for Physiotherapy. The course offers a variety of modules like Functional Anatomy and Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology and many more, which was essential in helping me to prepare for Physiotherapy. This course builds your foundation for furthering your study in many different health professional careers.

The lecturers are extremely good, and as there is only a small cohort of students you build close relationships with them. This made the course more rewarding and fulfilling for me.

When it comes to deciding what further studies/career options you intend to pursue, the lecturers, who are all qualified in their specialities, have many contacts that can help guide you.

The skills I obtained in this course I can bring forward for the rest of my career.

Since graduating from the University of Salford with my honours degree in Physiotherapy, I have secured a position as a Physiotherapist in North Manchester General Hospital.
