The second annual 5k Fun Run & Walk at IT Sligo’s Knocknarea Arena takes place this Saturday, October 20th.
The event is open to the public and participants are expected to cover the fitness spectrum, from couch potato to ace athlete.
Registration is available online at www.runireland.com or on the day from 10am to 12pm. The fee is €12.
Because it is a flat course, the run provides a good opportunity for experienced runners to improve their “personal best” times while less competitive participants will be reassured that there are no daunting inclines.
