Guidance Counsellors to hold AGM in Sligo

ICGAGMThe Institute of Guidance Counsellors will hold its AGM in Sligo this week from March 7 to 9.

 

The main venue for the AGM will be the Radisson SAS Hotel and a series of workshops will also be held at IT Sligo on Friday March 8th.

 

IT Sligo Registrar, Dr Brendan McCormack (pictured on the extreme right at the launch of the conference) has extended a warm welcome to visiting guidance counsellors to the Institute ahead of the visit.

 

“We’re delighted to be hosting and supporting the ICG AGM in Sligo this week and we look forward to welcoming its members to the campus on Friday,” he said. “This is an excellent opportunity for us to showcase our modern learning environment and programme offerings to guidance counsellors who play such an important role in advising secondary school students on study paths.”

 

The Institute of Guidance Counsellors was established in 1968 and is the professional body representing over 1200 practitioners in second level schools, third level colleges, adult guidance services, private practice and in other settings. For more information see www.igc.ie
