IT Sligo Hosts Leadership Conference on March 9th

IT Sligo will host a Leadership Conference on Thursday, March 9th in the Institute’s Aurivo Auditorium from 2:30pm to 5pm.

‘True Stories about how organisations succeed and People Analytics’ is being run in conjunction with the North West Branch of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).  It aims to share some of the performance secrets of some of the most impressive organisations around the world.

The keynote speakers are:

Brian MacNeice – Kotinos Partners Ltd.
Brian is an expert in high performance and advises international clients on driving improvements in the performance and culture of their businesses.Brian has led numerous assignments with clients in a diverse range of industry sectors. He was previously founding Director of Genesis Ireland. He is the co-author of ‘Powerhouse: Insider accounts into the World’s Top High Performance Organizations’, published in 2016. David is also an IRFU national nanel referee, a selector for the Irish national cricket team.

Cormac Hennessy – Deloitte Ireland
Cormac is a Senior Manager with the Analytics & Information Management team in Deloitte Ireland. He has ten years business consulting experience working on a range projects including strategy development, process improvement and business intelligence across a wide spectrum of clients, primarily in the Financial Services sector. He has deep experience in helping organisations define and implement their business intelligence and analytics strategies. He was worked with the HR functions of a number of large organisations as they develop their People Analytics capability.

The conference will also feature a Q&A panel discussion featuring key business leaders from the region. These include Willie Ruane – CEO of Connacht Rugby, and Aaron Forde – CEO of Aurivo Co-operative, one of the region’s largest employers.

This is a free public event but pre-registration is essential.
