IT Sligo Ladies GAA B team won the Division 4 Cup at the league final which was played in Mayo on February 14th. The ladies won the match with an impressive 2 – 15 to 1 – 11 against the Mary Immaculate College of Limerick team.

This decided victory was not the only win of the day, with the IT Sligo goal keeper Helena Cummins also claiming Player of the Match.

In a fitting but emotional tribute, the Cup was presented to Padraic Ryan, father of the team’s talented centre-back Tara Ryan who was tragically killed in a road traffic accident last month.
