Some of Ireland’s leading marketing and content professionals will share their experience and expertise at IT Sligo’s annual Marketing Conference on Friday, February 12th.

The ‘Sale or Fail’ Marketing Conference will bring together sales marketing and content professionals to learn from one another to improve innovation on their teams. Because marketing strategists and creative designers rely on one another in equal measure to communicate their messages and achieve their respective goals, this unique conference encourages insightful collaboration.

“Selling in today’s environment is tough. Competition is keen and customers are more educated than ever before,” says Ann Higgins, Head of Department of Marketing, Tourism and Sport at IT Sligo.

“It doesn’t make any difference if the word ‘salesperson’ is in your title or not. If you have to go out into a marketplace and create value for potential clients you are a sales person.”

The Conference will enable participants to network with thought leaders, peers, new client prospects, and potential sales team recruits. Delegates will also gather competitive intelligence for benchmarking, insight, and strategic planning.

Keynote speakers on the day will include:

John Elliott – Pfizer Healthcare Ireland
Current President of the Medical Representative Institute of Ireland (MRII). Sales professional for 25 years with a career covering retail to Pharmaceutical sales.

Conor Neiland – Diageo
With over 20 years industry experience, Conor is Customer Marketing Director for Guinness globally, and has responsibility for markets as diverse as North America and Nigeria.

Martha Kearns – Storylab
Martha is a highly respected journalist and communications professional with more than 15 years of top-flight media experience. She is the Managing Director of StoryLab, an Irish content services and PR agency rooted in the culture of quality journalism.

Kevin Egan – Founder of Kevin Egan Cars
Kevin runs a successful car dealership in the North West region.  In 2013, the Society of the Irish Motor Industry named him Car Dealer of the year. Kevin also was a finalist in the SFA Small Business Awards 2015.

‘Sale or Fail’ takes place on Friday, February 12th, from 9am to 3:30pm at IT Sligo. This is a free event but pre-registration is essential.
