IT Sligo currently has a number of job opportunities at executive and senior management level.

• Head of School of Engineering and Head of School of Business & Humanities

The Institute is recruiting two Head of School positions, the Head of School of Engineering and the Head of School of Business and Humanities. These Head of School positions represent an exciting opportunity to lead each respective School in a period of significant change, with opportunities to innovate and to influence the future direction of the Institute. Reporting to the President, each Head of School will be responsible for the leadership and management of their School. Each appointee will also be a member of the Executive Committee, which is responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of the Institute’s strategic plan.

• Head of Department of Civil & Construction Engineering

Reporting to the Head of School of Engineering, the Head of Department of Civil & Construction Engineering will be a key member of academic management, responsible for the efficient and effective management of the Department, its academic programmes and resources. The appointee will lead, direct and manage the academic programmes at Department level including teaching, research, programme development and design, academic assessment and academic administration.

• Student Affairs Manager

Reporting to the Registrar, the Student Affairs Manager will be responsible for the leadership and management of student admissions, registration, student records and overall student services in accordance with Institute policy and procedures.

Each position may be offered on a permanent whole-time or contract basis to a suitable candidate.
