A group of 3rd year PR and Events Management students are organising an evening exclusively for the ladies of Sligo. The event which is a Glitz & Glamour Night, will take place in the Glasshouse Hotel on the 18th of October at 8.30pm. The Event is aimed at raising awareness and funds for the North West hospice and the service they provide for patients and families in the community.
On the night guests at the event can expect an evening of excellent entertainment, Hollywood stars and luxurious beauty treatments from top class local professionals in the Health, Beauty and Fashion industries from the North West.
The students have enlisted the help of award winning local enterprises such as: Ziggys, Bernie’s Beauty Salon, the new and upcoming Sligo Lashes and Make-up Artisit Christina Cawley, all of whom will be providing their services complimentary to ticket holders on the night. There will also be demonstrations from Beautiful Lengths Hair Extensions of micro-looping, the extension system of choice for stars such as Alex Curran, and Miley Cyrus. Nail Art will be provided by top local artist Rachel Burke. The Odd Hanger will provide Hollywood style on the night by, with their collection from design house Avoca Fashions. Other surprises for guests attending include a raffle with exciting prises generously donated by local businesses such as Lifestyle Sports, Tesco, Avoca Fashions and Bernie’s Beauty.
It all kicks off at 8.30pm on the 18th of October in the Glasshouse Hotel Sligo. Tickets will be on sale on Monday the 10th of October in the Main Canteen of IT Sligo at 1pm, and on the Tuesday the 11th of October in Quayside Shopping Centre.
