Tea and Talk is an online virtual educational event run by the BB in Tourism with event management students at IT Sligo as part of their module on the topic.
The Tea & Talk event will take place on the 16 of March 2021 at 3pm Dublin time and will be live for 1 hour on Zoom. It is hosted in the Republic of Ireland and open to everybody around the world. This event includes chats online with experts in areas of tourism and marketing regarding future-proofing the sector on its way to recovery.
The main purpose of this event is to encourage innovation and creativity in the Tourism sector. It is a fantastic opportunity for entrepreneurs in the sector to acquire new knowledge and be aware of the new innovative trends.
According to the RTE.ie on Thursday, 2 Jul 2020, the CEO Paul Kelly said, “the impact of lockdown, the Tourism sector is the first to suffer from the hardest hit, no trip allowed in and out of the country, the industry has incurred high costs despite supports the Government put in place”.
Creative marketing students coming from IT Sligo will be live with different guests and entrepreneurs including Bua Marketing, brand & Marketing Agency who focus on Tourism, Cultural, Creative, and challenger’ start-up Industries & Kuroo Teaks, a Certified Marketing Consultant.
All Tourism enthusiasts are very welcome to attend this event which will be a remarkable experience addressing challenges in terms of coping with current issues in the Tourism sector & to think about approaches for the future.All the team, who are final year students, will be delighted to answer different queries regarding this event.
